A Busy Week on the Global Stage..
It has been a busy week in the world of science and technology and a great pleasure for us to see some of our clients on the global stage in one form or another.
There have been many news pieces worth reporting, but we have chosen three of the week’s stand out moments;
Earlier this week it was announced that Metabolomic Diagnostics Ltd and AuriGen Medical are two of three Irish companies to win a combined €7m in the latest round of Horizon 2020 SME Instrument funding.
This was in addition to the recent news that Trinity College Dublin spin-off ProVerum Medical led by Dr Conor Harkin raised a €3.5 million investment round including investment from HBAN Syndicates.
Meanwhile, at Vitafoods in Geneva, Sinead Bleiel and Robert Kent of AnaBio Technologies Ltd. took to the stage to unveil their innovative microencapsulated oils and demonstrate AnaBio innovation in Sports Nutrition. That is not a bad roundup of science, technology and funding to close out the week.
