Eimer Brennan is a European Patent Attorney and Irish-registered Trade Mark and Design Attorney with more than 25 years’ experience in IP law. She joined PURDYLUCEY in 2009 following several years in another Irish IP firm. Eimer holds a BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology from Dublin City University and an MSc in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
Eimer’s core expertise lies in patent filing and prosecution in the fields of biotechnology, food science, nutrition, environmental science, and medical devices. She has significant experience in patent litigation and oral proceedings before the European Patent Office, including oppositions. As a Trade Mark and Design Attorney, she advises on national and European filings, prosecution, and disputes across the full life cycle of IP rights. Eimer is a member of the Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Ireland.
